About Me…

Susan lives in Montecito, California and Madrid, Spain. She graduated from the University of San Diego in 1980 with a BA in Accounting. Nonetheless, her evenly matched right-brain left-brain nature kept her dabbling in an assortment of artistic forms her entire life, including music, clothing design and architecture.

It wasn’t until her three children were nearly grown that she began to seriously explore the fine art of oil painting. Initially, she studied privately under the tutelage of Regina Lyubovnaya where she gained a solid foundation in the language of painting. Since then, her love of travel and art has called her to study with some of the most sought after teachers and artists living today.

Susan begun sculpting as a way to inform her understanding of the human figure. She is also experimenting with abstract concepts and is moving toward a new way of expressing original ideas through a more intuitive approach.
